Software Test Engineer - Manual / Automation Testing

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities And Deliverables :

• Review business requirements and design functional test cases.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans that cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create detailed test cases for various CPQ processes, such as configuring products, pricing, and generating quotes.
• Execute manual test cases based on the project's requirements.
• Conduct end-to-end testing for Sales force CPQ processes, such as product configuration, pricing rules, quote generation, and discounting workflows.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
• Report testing results, defects, and issues to development teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure smooth interaction between Salesforce CPQ and other Salesforce modules (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) or third-party applications.
• Perform regression testing to verify that updates and changes to the system don't negatively impact existing functionalities.
• Support end-users during User Acceptance Testing by helping them understand the new features and capturing any feedback or issues they may encounter.
• Develop and maintain test cases, and test scripts for Unit testing and also in MATLAB depending on the task.
• Understand feature-level requirements in the Automotive domain and come up with corner cases where the system can fail.
• Design and implement automated testing solutions to streamline the testing process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for day-to-day activities Debugging Skills & Issue Resolution with ownership.
• Assign and Review the work done by the Testing team members and guide them.
• Maintain the records of test procedures and ensure that the software is bug-free.
• Ensure compliance with software standards and quality assurance processes.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Good understanding of C / C++ and Matlab.
• Good understanding of automotive protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
