Your Mission

We are seeking an enthusiastic Application Engineer with a passion for industrial technical environments to deliver technical support product demonstrations and training sessions for our customers and business partners in India. You will also act as a key link between the field and our internal teams (Product Marketing Services Sales) sharing insights to continuously improve our solutions and customer experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

Customer Support & Guidance

  • Respond to user requests and provide tailored technical assistance
  • Analyze customer needs and identify issues to deliver effective solutions
  • Communicate clearly and appropriately depending on the audience
  • Document and share knowledge internally to improve support processes

Training & Demonstrations

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality training sessions and product demos
  • Adapt content to the audience and ensure understanding of software features
  • Evaluate trainee progress using appropriate validation tools
  • Collaborate with internal experts to stay up to date with product capabilities

    • Continuous Improvement & Reporting

  • Share customer feedback and field insights with HQ teams
  • Identify and report product issues to ensure proper resolution
  • Contribute to the evolution of our support services and product offering

    • Your Profile

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience using Metrolog X4 or an similar metrology software solution is requiered
  • A strong customer service mindset is required
  • Fluency in English is essential due to our international positioning and collaboration with global partners

    • Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of metrology and experience with technical software tools
  • Ability to diagnose complex customer situations and provide appropriate solutions
  • Strong communication skills both remote and in-person to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Proficiency with IT tools and ticketing platforms (e.g. Jira CRM systems)

  • Strong customer orientation active listening and ability to tailor your message
  • Collaborative spirit knowledge sharing and a mentoring attitude toward colleagues
  • Ability to professionally represent the company in external interactions

  • Ability and willingness to travel within the associated geographic area potentially abroad.
