Senior Manager – GSE - Maintenance
Location : Delhi
JOB PURPOSE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sr. Manager – GSE Maintenance is responsible to assist BU Head of Department to ensure that maintenance of all ground support equipment is carried out in a timely manner as per AISATS GSE policy.
- This position will be responsible to carry out maintenance activities for the entire South Zone.
- Ensure that maintenance of GSE is carried out in accordance with the procedures laid down by company policy, manufactures’ manuals and regulatory requirements
- Ensure sufficient spare stock for GSE repair
- Ensure inventory and tagging of GSE as per company policy
- Ensure GSE replacement is planned as per company policy
- Ensure that maintenance skills set is updated through proper training
- Ensure training of maintenance staff take place as per company training matrix and manufacturers’ recommendations
- Ensure that maintenance team is updated with latest policies, procedures and regulations
- Assist BU Heads for optimization of resources / GSEs and cost reduction
- Contribute to formulate GSE maintenance procedures and policies in accordance with company’s vision, mission, value and legal procedures; and implement the approved ones
- Ensure services are delivered as per agreed SLA with clients
- Assist AVP ramp / HOD to achieve goals, market share, revenue levels, cost reduction and / or operational efficiency
- Lead and coordinate his / her subordinates during his / her shift. deliver targets, monitor and evaluate his / her subordinates’ performance and provide feedback, reports
- Make spot checks to ensure that safety practices are followed, take necessary steps to correct and irregularity.
- Contributes in preparing procedures / instructions and training procedures for equipment operations when required
- Assist BU-Heads to prepare budget of GSE maintenance
- Ensure that spares’ stock and inventory is properly planned and maintained to ensure continuity of services
- Monitor monthly realization of department targets
- Measure and evaluate his / her individual performance and development, attends planned training and projects for self-improvement
- Observe customer satisfaction, make proposals for improvement.
- Communicate and attend meetings with other departments and external agencies to ensure smooth service s.
- Maintain good working relationship with customers and all stake holders.
- Ensures that equipment that are used in ramp services are functional well, and instructs maintenance team to eliminate deficiencies.
- Ensures the security and safety of the company property (equipment, stationery items, etc)
- Ensures the confidentiality of all information regarding the company and the work he / she performs, ensure the security of valuable documents.
- Ensure upkeep of AISATS offices and staff grooming and uniform regulations are followed strictly.
- Ensure that branding, corporate image and service standards are never jeopardized under any circumstances
- Ensure that his / her team works in line with AISATS values, principles and procedures; serve as role model for employees in his / her team.
- Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of operations.
- You will be responsible and accountable to make necessary operational decisions related to safety and security matters at all times whilst on duty.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Equivalent GSE Experience.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in ramp operations and GSE MaintenanceExperience in resources (manpower) management.Able to learn and develop new skills.For a successful role as Sr. Manager –GSE-Maintenance services, he / she should have the following traits :
