Job Description

Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules, particularly ITSM , ITOM , CMDB , Discovery , Service Catalog , and Service Portal
Develop and maintain client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and workflows using Flow Designer
Create and manage integrations using REST / SOAP APIs , MID Server , and third-party tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions
Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and ensure system integrity
Maintain security compliance using ACLs , role-based access, and best practices in scoped applications
Participate in instance upgrades, patching, and change management
Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and uphold development standards

Mandatory Skills

4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience within 5–8 years total IT experience

Strong experience in ITSM (e.g., Incident, Change, Problem, Request)

Working knowledge of ITOM , including CMDB and Discovery

Solid command of JavaScript , Glide API , HTML , CSS , and AngularJS

Experience with ServiceNow Service Catalog , Service Portal , and Scoped Applications

Proficient in REST / SOAP integrations , MID Server, and external API communication

Hands-on with Flow Designer , Workflow Editor , Script Includes

Familiarity with ACL Security , Performance Analytics , and CMDB architecture

ServiceNow Certified : CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer)

Good understanding of ITIL best practices

Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills in Agile teams
