Freelance Java Atlassian Engineer

Looking for a Freelance Java Atlassian Engineer to join a team of rockstar developers. The candidate should have a minimum of 5+ yrs. of experience.There are multiple openings. We have offices in Florida & New Delhi. Our clientele spreads across the US, Australia & APAC. To give you a sense of our growth rate, we've added 70+ employees in the last 6 weeks itself and expect another 125+ by the end of Q4 2025.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Atlassian Server / Data Center apps using Atlassian SDK and Plugin Framework.Implement new features, integrations, and enhancements for Jira / Confluence plugins.Develop frontend components using JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery.Work with build and deployment pipelines using Maven, Git / Bitbucket, and Bamboo.Build and consume REST APIs using JSON / XML.Ensure scalability, thread safety, and performance in clustered Data Center environments.Implement unit and automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, etc.Utilize logging and dependency injection frameworks (Log4j2, Spring).Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirements, design, and release management.Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of professional Java development experience.Strong proficiency in Java 11+ (Java 17 preferred).Hands-on experience developing Atlassian Server / DC apps using Atlassian SDK / Plugin Framework.Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery .Intermediate knowledge of React, Node.js, and package managers .Experience with Maven, Git / Bitbucket, and Bamboo CI / CD pipelines .Strong understanding of REST API design, JSON, XML .Familiarity with Atlassian SAL, Active Objects, event handling, and licensing modules .Knowledge of clustered environments , performance, and thread safety.Comfortable with Unit Testing and Test Automation .Solid understanding of Log4j2 and Spring for dependency injection.What we need-~35 hours of work per week.-100% remote from our side-You will be paid out every month.-Min 4yrs of experience-Please apply only if you have a 100% remote job currently-If you do well, this will continue for a long time
