Responsibilities :

  • Identify & select new products and manage the cross-functional evaluation of these products including patent reviews, technical evaluations, and commercial assessments.
  • Develop business cases through collaboration with technical, regulatory, IP and commercial. Fully understand business case drivers, including competitive landscape, clinical requirements, and other potential external factors which may impact valuation.
  • Conduct high-level portfolio overviews and make recommendations on project priorities based on NPV’s and time-to-market.
  • Prepare summary recommendations for product opportunities and present to Executive Leadership Team and other Senior Management for approval.
  • Update portfolio information tools, reports and databases as new information becomes available.
  • Support portfolio re-prioritization initiatives for pipeline products.
  • Provide in-depth analysis on indications, trends, challenges, opportunities, and unmet medical needs. Lead efforts to gather and analyze market intelligence.

Basic Qualifications :

  • M.Pharm or PGDM / MBA
  • 6-8 years of experience in Portfolio Management for both formulations and APIs. Prior experience in R&D or IPM is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in preparing & Determining Pivots table, charts, Sales Forecasts, NPVs, IRRs, Revenue estimates in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of the global pharma markets, including commercial, patents and regulatory environment
  • Strong research & analytics, problem solving skills, and business acumen
