About the Role : We are looking for a Shopify Tech Lead who can architect, develop, and lead the implementation of complex Shopify solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Shopify Plus, app development, custom theme development, backend programming (NodeJS or Python), and integration with third-party systems (ERP, CRM, Payment gateways, etc.). You’ll lead a team of Shopify developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI / UX, QA, BA, PM), and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries aligned with client goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead end-to-end Shopify, Shopify Plus and Shopify for Enterprise development projects — from requirement gathering to go-live.
• Architect scalable and high-performing Shopify solutions with a focus on performance, SEO, and conversion.
• Oversee and mentor the development team — perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with the Sales team, Designers, BAs, and PMs to translate business needs into technical solutions, define architecture, provide an estimation and be able to give demos.
• Develop custom Shopify apps, backend services (using NodeJS or Python), API integrations, and third-party service connections.
• Manage Shopify migrations from other platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, or custom builds.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Shopify stores.
• Drive automation, reusability, and adoption of AI-driven tools for faster and better-quality output.
• Ensure compliance with security, performance, and accessibility standards.
• Stay updated with new Shopify releases, Liquid updates, and eCommerce trends.
