Job description

Responsibilities :

Write compelling long-form articles (1200-2500 words) and research-based articles on finance-related topics.
Incorporate SEO and GEO best practices, including keyword research and content optimization, to enhance visibility and drive organic traffic. Stay updated on social media trends.
Tailor content tone and style to suit diverse audiences, ranging from beginners to seasoned investors, ensuring clarity and engagement.
Work closely with editors and subject-matter experts to align content with 1 Finance objectives.
Ensure all content is factually accurate, grammatically correct, and free of errors before submission.
Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Experience & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, Finance, English, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, financial journalism courses) is a plus.

Minimum 5-8 years in financial content writing or journalism. Experience in personal finance writing for financial publications is highly desirable.

Skills :

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.

Familiarity with financial markets, investment products, and economic concepts.

Knowledge of SEO principles and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).

Ability to research and convert complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Personal Traits : Detail-oriented, creative, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
