Roles and Responsibilities :

: End-to-End Project Ownership Manage full project lifecycle from design, hardware staging / installation, migration, and cutovers to production support. Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for SD-WAN and security solutions. Network Design & Implementation Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures. Develop High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Visio diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Deliver hybrid connectivity solutions between on-premises and cloud environments. Routing & Switching Configure and optimize enterprise routing using BGP, OSPF, VRF-lite, and VRF. Deploy and manage Cisco platforms including Nexus, Catalyst, CSR, and edge routers. Security Implement and support Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) firewalls. Design and manage policy-based and route-based VPN solutions. Integrate cloud security solutions such as Netskope. SD-WAN & Wireless Design and deploy enterprise SD-WAN solutions using Meraki, FortiGate, and whitebox platforms. Architect and manage wireless solutions leveraging Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Meraki. Cloud Networking Design and implement networking solutions across AWS, GCP, and OCI. Configure hybrid connectivity (VPC, Direct Connect, VPN, interconnect services via Equinix Fabric and Megaport). Automation & Infrastructure as Code Develop automation workflows using Python scripting. Provision and manage cloud / network resources with Terraform. Monitoring & Observability Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Grafana and Telegraf. Ensure observability across hybrid cloud and on-premises networks. Hardware & Infrastructure Support Manage staging, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance of network hardware. Operate console servers (Perle) for remote management and troubleshooting.

Job Description :

The role spans the full project lifecycle—from hardware installation, staging, and cutovers to designing, implementing, and supporting production environments. Design hybrid connectivity solutions between on-premises infrastructure and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, OCI), optimize cloud networking, and deliver site-specific WLAN, LAN, and WAN designs. We also lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for whitebox SD-WAN and FortiGate deployments, design enterprise SD-WAN networks using MPLS / EVPN cloud solutions, and produce BOMs, Visio diagrams, HLDs, and LLDs. For monitoring and observability, we implemented and manage Grafana across hybrid environments. Technologies worked on : Cisco Nexus 93180, Cisco 8300 routers, Cisco 2300 FTD, , Catalyst 9500 / 9300 / 9200, Cisco CSR 8000v, Equinix Fabric, Megaport, Netskope, Meraki, Cisco 9800 WLC, AWS / GCP / OCI Networking, Grafana, Telegraf, Python, Terraform, and Perle Console servers. Need to manage end-to-end ownership of network projects—from initial design, hardware deployment, and cloud integration to automation, monitoring, and production support. Technologies : Routing & Switching : Extensive hands-on experience with routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, VRF-lite, VRF Security : Expertise in policy-based and route-based VPNs, and strong experience with security products from Cisco FTD SD-WAN & Wireless : Proficient with SD-WAN solutions from Meraki. Skilled in designing wireless solutions with products from Cisco WLC, Meraki. Cloud Networking : Strong knowledge of cloud technologies on AWS, GCP, and OCI, including services like VPC, Direct Connect, VPN, and various hybrid connectivity options.
