Position Overview

The Lead Corteza Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of customized modules, workflows, and automations within the Corteza platform. This role involves deep technical expertise in Corteza’s architecture, including the backend (Go), frontend (Vue.js), and automation layers. The developer will lead the effort to stabilize, refactor, and optimize ~200 existing workflows, ensuring seamless integration across lead management, contact creation, and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical remediation and enhancement of existing Corteza modules and workflows.

Diagnose and resolve issues in lead, contact, and billing workflows that are currently breaking.

Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and service reliability.

Develop and maintain Corteza automation scripts (server-side and client-side).

Customize Corteza modules using Corteza Studio (low-code configuration).

Implement and maintain API integrations with external systems (billing, accounting, CRM).

Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Work closely with the Solution Architect to align system design with business requirements.

Ensure compatibility with newer Corteza versions and support upgrade planning.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years on Corteza or similar low-code platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Odoo, Appian).

Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang), JavaScript, and Vue.js.

Experience creating and managing Corteza Modules, Namespaces, and Automation scripts.

Familiarity with MySQL / PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Docker.

Working knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and deployment practices.

Strong analytical and debugging skills with a focus on system reliability.

Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in enterprise-level CRM / ERP projects.

Familiarity with Planet Crust (Corteza maintainers) APIs and upgrade processes.

Prior exposure to Kubernetes-managed deployments.
