Cybersecurity Metrics Lead

Position Overview

The Cybersecurity Metrics Lead will help implement and manage security metrics across Zelis, security tools, and program efficiency.

The Cybersecurity Metrics Lead will support the information security department build and mature our security metrics program ensuring we align with industry best practices and frameworks. The position will oversee metrics creation, monitoring, and reporting across our cybersecurity practices including GRC, Cyber Defense, Architecture, IAM, and AI.

Responsibilities include :

Support the cybersecurity metrics strategy and long range planning for metrics

Establish metrics aligning with industry regulation

Define technical metric targets and lead development efforts

Manage the daily / weekly collection of metrics data and generate reports

Support for monthly and quarterly executive dashboards

Work across cybersecurity and IT operation departments to collect and enhance metrics reporting

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas :

Operational experience working across multiple cybersecurity programs and capabilities

Experience in a healthcare and / or financial technology company

Experience working in a variety of compliance programs (NIST / ISO / HITRUST / PCI / etc).

Familiarity with security tooling and platforms including GRC tooling and reporting

Expertise in building dashboards aligning with industry best practices.

Bachelors degree

4+ years experience leading security metrics program
