Key Responsibilities
- Design analog and mixed-signal circuits involving op-amps, transistors, MOSFETs, relays, transformers, diodes, etc.
- Familiarity with processor-based circuit design using platforms like Jetson Nano, i.MX8,
- Raspberry Pi, etc.
- Interface a wide range of sensors (temperature, pressure, current, voltage etc.).
- Knowledge of signal conditioning design circuits using op-amp, ADC etc. for various sensor interface
- Create schematics, PCB layouts (Good to have but not mandatotary), and documentation using tools like Altium(preferable), KiCad, or OrCAD.
- Design and integrate various communication modules including LoRa, Wi-Fi, Ethernet (PoE), RS485, Bluetooth, 4G.
- Develop efficient power management systems, including :
- MPPT Solar Charging circuit design including power budget calculations
- Battery Management Systems (BMS) design for Lithium ion and Li-Po batteries
- Extensive Knowledge of circuit design using LDO, Buck, Boost, and Flyback power supply topologies
- Select and integrate microcontrollers (MCUs) based on application needs.
- Implement and debug protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus.
- Conduct prototyping, testing, and validation of hardware designs.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams for end -to-end product development.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong fundamentals in analog and digital circuit design.Proficiency with microcontrollers based board design (STM32, ESP32, Atmel, TI, etc.) and associated development tools.Expertise in power electronics design, especially in energy-efficient and compact systems.Familiarity with battery-powered systems, solar energy harvesting, and charging circuitry.Experience in designing and implementing robust sensor interfaces for industrial applications.Deep understanding of embedded communication protocols and bus systems.Practical experience in design for EMI / EMC considerations.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using DMM, Function generator, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.Good knowledge of component selection, thermal management, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).Desirable Skills
Experience with certification processes (CE, FCC, etc.)Knowledge of low-power design techniques.Hands-on with simulation tools like LTspice, PSpice.Prior experience working with industrial or loT products.Skills Required
