About the Role :

Position Title : Senior Analyst

Corporate Title : Analyst

Location : Working location would be Bengaluru or Mumbai

Job Profile : Position details :

Execute FX back-office operations swiftly and accurately (including verification of interbank FX transaction details, execution of settlement instructions, confirmation of the completion of a series of settlements, and related tasks).
Cooperate with team members (including Tokyo / Osaka back offices and related departments).
Comply with laws and regulations of each country and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Train new employees and provide operational guidance.
Communicate with other companies (including counterparties and agent banks) as necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Enhance skills and expertise in the assigned duties through work experience.

Work proactively under the direction of supervisors or managers and perform tasks independently.

Take initiative with enthusiasm, play a leading role, and contribute to the development and value enhancement of the bank.

Execute tasks efficiently and accurately with a strong sense of ownership, making an accurate assessment of the situation and take appropriate actions.

Job Requirements :

Essential Conditions :

Ability to use IT tools - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

English proficiency for business communication

Resonate with MUFG policies

During OJT and shadowing periods, employees are required to work according to Tokyo hours.

In the future phase, when independent operation in India becomes possible, they may also be required to work hours aligned with European, American, or other international time zone coverages depending on business needs.

Optional Conditions :

Knowledge of finance, marketable products, settlement systems, etc.

Japanese language proficiency

Practical experience in back-office tasks or similar roles

Job experience in financial institutions
