About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Consultants who hold expertise as IT Business Partner - Finance, Projects, and EPM to join our team on a long-term assignment.
This role is ideal for a senior consultant with a strong blend of finance functional expertise, project portfolio management knowledge, and EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) experience.
The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, driving Oracle Fusion ERP initiatives and ensuring systems are aligned with financial processes, reporting, and business goals.
This position is mainly for Noida ( Offshore Development Center) and provides the opportunity to work on complex financial cycles, end-to-end budgeting, and integrated project management solutions in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Partnering : Act as the primary link between Finance, Projects, Budgeting teams, and IT for all Oracle Fusion initiatives.
- Module Expertise : Support Oracle Fusion Finance and PPM modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Procurement, and Project Costing.
- Budgeting & EPM : Provide deep expertise in EPM integration with PPM and Finance, ensuring smooth budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Finance Cycles : Manage and support full Finance cycles including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Asset Lifecycle (Acquire to Retire), Project Costing, Payroll-to-GL Costing, and SLA updates.
- System Configuration : Configure and maintain setups such as Chart of Accounts (COA), Mapping Sets, Cross-Validation Rules, Security Rules, Memo Lines, and Approval Workflows.
- Reporting & Analytics : Develop and maintain OTBI and BI Publisher reports, and ensure effective use of Smart View and Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio (HFRS) for finance and project reporting.
- Integrations & Collaboration : Work closely with HCM and SCM teams to ensure smooth end-to-end integration across business processes.
- Custom Applications : Provide support for internally developed applications and design new solutions when required.
- Quarterly Upgrades : Analyze Oracle Fusion quarterly upgrades, recommend relevant features, and coordinate testing with business users before rollout.
- Closing Activities : Assist Finance teams with month-end and year-end closings by ensuring system readiness and accurate financial reporting.
- Training & Documentation : Conduct training sessions for end-users, document processes, and maintain compliance with audit and governance requirements.
- Vendor Collaboration : Work with external partners on system enhancements, bug fixes, and upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline. CA or CPA is a plus.5 to 9 years of experience in Oracle Fusion ERP implementation and support with specialization in Finance and PPM.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance cycles (P2P, O2C, FA, Payroll, Project Accounting).Proficiency in Finance and PPM module configurations and sufficient hands-on knowledge of EPM (Budgeting and Planning).Experience in developing OTBI and BI Publisher reports, Smart View, and Hyperion FR Studio.Familiarity with custom applications and integrations within the Oracle Fusion ecosystem.Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation with EPM integration.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration abilities.Flexibility to work beyond standard hours when required.Preferred Skills :
Oracle ERP Cloud certifications in Finance, PPM, or EPM.Additional professional certifications such as CISA, PPM, or similar.Experience with EPM, HCM, and SCM module integrations.Exposure to audit, governance, and compliance processes.Experience working in higher education or large enterprise ERP environments.Work Culture & Environment :
