Senior Product Designer (UX Strategy focused)

📍 Remote – India

🕒 6 Month Contract | Immediate Start | Competitive Day Rate

About the Role

We’re supporting a global consulting business to hire a Senior Product Designer for a high-impact digital platform currently being rolled out across multiple regions.

This is a strategic, hands-on design role — ideal for someone who loves systems thinking, discovery, and connecting dots across complex experiences. You’ll join a small, experienced team and take ownership of the early stages of design : framing problems, testing ideas, and shaping experiences that impact thousands of users globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the early phases of the product design process — discovery, journey mapping, and concept design.
  • Work closely with product owners, engineers, and other designers across international squads.
  • Translate insights and feedback into clear hypotheses, prototypes, and testable solutions.
  • Support usability testing and validation to ensure designs meet user and business needs.
  • Partner with a UI designer to evolve and maintain the design system and pattern library.
  • Help drive a design-led culture , bringing structure, clarity, and strong user advocacy.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in UX or Product Design within agile or cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work strategically — not just executing screens but solving complex problems.
  • Experience designing for platforms or products with multiple user groups and workflows .
  • Confident communicator who can challenge assumptions and guide stakeholders.
  • Experience in regulated or HR-related domains is a plus.
  • Familiarity with usability testing, Figma, and iterative design practices.
  • Collaborative, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely in small teams.
