To expand KITs student intake and brand presence in South Asia, we are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Marketing Head, preferably from an Indian Institute of Management (IIM), with a strong passion for education, international marketing, and institutional branding.
Role Summary :
The Marketing Head will be responsible for building and executing the entire marketing and recruitment strategy for KIT across India and neighboring countries. The role includes developing brand visibility, establishing partnerships with schools and colleges, conducting student engagement programs, and driving enrollment targets. This position requires leadership, creativity, and strong communication skills to represent KIT as the leading Japanese-managed international university in Asia.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Marketing & Branding
- Design and implement a comprehensive marketing plan to promote KIT as the preferred destination for students aspiring for careers in Japan.
- Build brand awareness through innovative online and offline campaigns, education expos, digital platforms, and media partnerships.
- Develop promotional materials (brochures, videos, digital ads, testimonials) highlighting KITs Japanese connection, global exposure, and job opportunities.
2. Outreach and Relationship Building
Establish strong ties with school principals, college placement officers, and career counselors across major Indian cities and regions.Conduct seminars, webinars, and orientation programs for students and parents, explaining KITs advantages and Japan placement pathway.Collaborate with educational consultants, study abroad agencies, and training institutes for lead generation and student referrals.3. Student Recruitment & Admissions
Develop and oversee the student recruitment funnel from inquiry to final admission and visa process.Organize and lead the interview and selection process for eligible students for KITs engineering and technology programs.Coordinate with the admissions team in Cambodia for application processing, documentation, and final acceptance.4. Advertising & Digital Marketing
Plan and monitor advertising campaigns across Google, Meta (Facebook / Instagram), YouTube, and education portals.Manage KITs India website, social media presence, and lead-generation platforms.Analyze marketing data and ROI from various campaigns to continuously improve recruitment efficiency.5. Coordination & Reporting
Report directly to the Managing Director and Japan-Cambodia Management Board on progress, market feedback, and enrollment status.Provide monthly performance reports, student data analysis, and strategy updates.Supervise regional representatives, interns, and marketing coordinators under the India office.Candidate Profile :
MBA / PGDM from IIM or other Tier-1 B-School (Marketing specialization preferred).Minimum 5-10 years of experience in education marketing, international student recruitment, or brand management.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is an advantage.Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and B2C lead management.Experience in international education or Japanese collaboration programs will be highly valued.Willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally to Cambodia and Japan.Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.Compensation & Benefits :
