About the Role :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Manager - Legal to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage a broad spectrum of legal, compliance, and corporate governance matters, providing strategic counsel to support business growth and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Contract Management : Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including software licensing, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, partnership agreements, and employment contracts.
- Compliance & Regulatory : Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection (GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity, export controls, and industry-specific requirements.
- Intellectual Property : Manage the company’s IP portfolio, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Collaborate with external counsel to protect innovations and technologies.
- Risk Management : Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Provide legal guidance on business initiatives, product development, and operational matters.
- Corporate Governance : Support corporate secretarial functions, including board meetings, shareholder communications, and adherence to corporate laws.
- Policy Development : Draft, implement, and maintain company policies, including privacy policies, employee conduct guidelines, and codes of ethics.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); additional qualifications (LLM, MBA, or certifications) are a plus.Proven experience in corporate law, contracts, IP management, compliance, and corporate governance.Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to work independently and provide strategic legal counsel in a dynamic environment.What We Offer :
