Job Title : Structural Engineer

Role Overview :
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for executing and controlling structural engineering tasks across multiple projects. This includes concept development, front-end engineering, technical studies, and detailed design, ensuring all deliverables meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute engineering activities including concept development, FEED, and detailed design.
- Prepare design deliverables such as construction drawings, structural analysis, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of engineering documents.
- Identify and manage scope and schedule changes following change management procedures.
- Review and approve specifications, technical evaluations, and vendor documentation.
- Interface with other departments to incorporate up-to-date inputs.
- Attend project review and 3D model review meetings.
- Control the quality of engineering documents in accordance with QA standards.
- Review material take-offs (MTOs) and provide inputs for bids and proposals.
- Ensure structural integrity of assigned work areas.
- Maintain high professional standards and commitment to HSES policies.
Qualifications :
Education : BSc or BTech in Civil or Structural Engineering (MSc or MTech is an advantage).Experience : 2–5 years in offshore oil & gas facilities or drilling rigs, preferably with EPC contractors or consultants.Software Proficiency : StaadPro, SACS, ANSYS, MathCAD.Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, AISC, API, ASTM, BS / EN, and classification rules (ABS, DNV, BV, CAP 437).
