This is with regards to an opening with Global Financial Services Firm in Mumbai

Role - Head Credit Valuation IPV (Executive Director)

Exp -12+ years

Title - ED to ED or Director Equivalent to Director

IPV / Valuation Control Leads

  • Professionals currently leading or second-in-command in Credit IPV / Valuation Control within Global Markets divisions.
  • Experience across Vanilla & Exotic Credit Derivatives, Bonds, CDS, CVA / DVA, and structured credit products.
  • Typically manage regional / global teams, often interfacing with FO, Risk, and Product Control.

b. Product Control / Valuation Methodology Heads

  • Product Control professionals who’ve moved into Valuation Control or IPV governance roles.
  • Deep exposure to revenue recognition, reserves, and fair value adjustments.
  • Often have cross-product exposure and work closely with Valuation Governance, Quants, and Risk teams.

    • c. Model Valuation / Risk Quant Professionals

  • From Market Risk or Model Validation backgrounds who’ve moved into valuation control.
  • Familiar with valuation methodology, pricing models, and regulatory requirements (Prudent Valuation, FVA, CVA).

    • Typical Background Snapshot

  • Experience : 15–20 years total, with 10+ in IPV / valuation control / credit markets.
  • Education : Quantitative or Finance degree (Maths, Economics, Engineering, Accounting); CFA / FRM / ACA a plus.
  • Profile traits :
  • Deep credit product knowledge (cash & derivatives)
  • Strong communication and regulatory exposure
  • Comfortable managing global stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset with control rigor
