About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on data engineering expertise with the ability to coordinate and provide leadership for Capco’s data strategy initiatives — including the archiving of historical Dynamics 365 data and building out a scalable data warehouse .
This role requires a deep understanding of Azure data services, Dataverse, and Power Platform , with added exposure to MS Fabric or Snowflake being a strong advantage. The candidate should also demonstrate solid project management and stakeholder coordination skills , capable of steering cross-functional data efforts from design through delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Lead or coordinate initiatives around archiving historical data from Dynamics 365 and designing scalable data warehouse solutions.
- Build and manage data models, schemas, and integrations within Dataverse , ensuring consistency, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop and enhance business applications and workflows using Power Platform tools :
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power Pages
- Power BI
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define data requirements, priorities, and milestones — ensuring alignment with the overall data strategy.
- Apply strong SQL and database management principles to design efficient data storage, retrieval, and ETL processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across platforms and data pipelines.
- Contribute to project coordination and leadership — managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across teams and vendors.
- Explore and leverage Microsoft Fabric and / or Snowflake for modern data warehousing and analytics capabilities.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
5–12 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI).Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Dataverse for data orchestration and modeling.Solid understanding of SQL , relational database concepts , and data modeling (star / snowflake schema).Proven experience in building and maintaining data warehouses and scalable data solutions in cloud environments.Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric and / or Snowflake for modern data engineering or analytics workloads.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 data architecture (for archival and integration).Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Azure Data Engineering .Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with Azure Synapse , Azure Functions , or Logic Apps .Why Join Us?
