Job Title : ServiceNow ITOM Expert

Experience : 8–10 Years

Location : Remote

Employment Type : Contract

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ITOM Expert to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM modules , with hands-on experience in CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Automation . You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow ITOM solutions that drive operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, etc.).
  • Ensure CMDB integrity and maintain accurate service dependency maps.
  • Drive automation initiatives through integration with third-party tools and custom scripts.
  • Collaborate with ITSM, ITAM, and other teams to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts (JavaScript, Glide) to enhance ServiceNow functionality.
  • Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in ServiceNow ITOM.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and API integrations.
  • Experience in Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and IT Operations Automation.
  • Proven ability to design and implement integrations with external systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM or equivalent certification preferred.
