QA Engineer

JOB SUMMARY : Translations.com is seeking a QA Engineer to manage and own the software testing lifecycle for integration frameworks for CMS & e-commerce systems.

We are looking for forward-thinking professionals who are more interested in how things could become and who can thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

Review design specifications to understand the software product's scope, requirements, and functionality.

Design and execute performance (load) and Integration testing

Conducts testing to ensure a product performs according to user requirements and within established guidelines.

Ability to monitor logs and understand the issues

Should be able to own complete QA cycle independently

Implementing, executing, and capturing results of test plans / test cases

Create, modify and maintain test cases needed for all aspects of testing

Ability to provide appropriate status reports on a daily basis.

Monitor, manage and report bugs using bug tracking tools such as JIRA

Provide testing results and reports to the QA Manager and Product Managers

Ability to work on multiple products simultaneously as per priority

Work closely in collaboration with teams to facilitate rapid deployment testing according to accepted plans and requirements

Complete other job duties assigned by your QA manager

Should be a good team player

Who We Are Looking For :

4-5 years of experience with Software Testing

Experience API testing using Postman.

Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills

Knowledge of functional testing

Experience with JIRA

Knowledge of databases

Ability to work in an Agile lifecycle

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Big plus if you have :

Knowledge of Unix commands, SQL and familiarity with MongoDB would be an added advantage

Experience in automation testing of API’s would be an added advantage
