- Lead the selection, implementation, and configuration of the CMS to meet the requirements of a global digital platform, ensuring scalability and flexibility.
- Develop and maintain the content architecture, including content models, taxonomies, and metadata, to support efficient content management and delivery across multiple channels.
- Manage and mentor a team of CMS developers, content strategists, and administrators, ensuring best practices in CMS development and content management are followed.
- Oversee the integration of the CMS with other systems, such as CRMs, e-commerce platforms, and analytics tools, and customize the CMS to meet specific business needs.
- Ensure the CMS supports multilingual and localized content, working closely with regional teams to adapt content strategies for different markets.
- Establish content governance frameworks, including user roles, permissions, and approval workflows, to maintain content quality and consistency across the platform.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the CMS, implementing caching, load balancing, and other techniques to ensure fast and reliable content delivery.
- Ensure the CMS adheres to security best practices and complies with global data protection regulations, such as GDPR.
- Provide training and ongoing support to content authors, editors, and other users of the CMS, ensuring they can effectively manage and publish content.
- Stay updated on the latest CMS technologies, trends, and best practices, continuously improving the platform to meet evolving business needs.
- Qualifications :
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in CMS development and management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of one or more CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal) and experience with their architecture, customization, and integration.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant back-end languages (e.g., Java, .NET, PHP).
- Experience managing CMS projects for global or multi-regional platforms, with an understanding of localization and multilingual content strategies.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
