Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive battlecards to enable sales teams in pitching competitive advantages of company solutions while analyzing rival capabilities.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of competitor product portfolios to highlight positioning, solution gaps, weaknesses, and strengths.
- Drive holistic understanding of competitor structures, go-to-market strategies (GTMs), financial performance, and sales / business strategies.
- Track company, competitor, and sector developments to leverage current market dynamics and assess relative positions.
- Conduct solution, trend, and market assessments in support of C-level decision-making and RFP requirements.
- Extensively use analyst reports (Gartner, IDC, ISG, Everest, Avasant, etc.), company publications, and market commentary to provide incisive competitive intelligence.
- Evolve into a competitive intelligence expert with strong knowledge of company propositions, market positioning, and the competitive landscape.
Capabilities Required
Experience in creating and maintaining competitive battlecards to equip sales representatives with counter-strategies against competitor capabilities.Proven experience in competitive intelligence and market research.Sustained exposure to IT solutions such as cloud, data center, networking, cybersecurity, and digital workplace.Strong analytical and research skills with ability to synthesize data from multiple sources (analyst reports, market commentary, company publications).Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver insights to stakeholders.Skills Required
