EHS Officer :

Agency Inspection Support :

To coordinate having an BB(EHS REWS or BU as necessary) to lead the environmental regulatory inspection and make sure proper planning & organization of necessary documentation and sampling from side. Coordinate with Internal stakeholders to organise for the report out to the agency inspectors as requested by the authorities in alignment with l EHS and REWS team.

Maintenance and implementation of applicable environment regulations

Update legal registers monthly; provide rule change summaries work with internal and external stakeholders on analysing its impacts to business.

Utilizing existing legal registers (i.e. index of applicable state and central regulations) track and update this file to reflect newly approved regulations with applicability to site operations. Bring a monthly summary of proposed rule changes to the EHS Manager for applicability discussions. Initiate necessary steps to enable providing feedback to the regulatory bodies impacting interest / operations by partnering with various stakeholders such as business groups logistics site facilities operations etc. Review the proposed feedback with Site EHS manager to initiate further steps. Liaison with Government affairs industries (outside ecosystem) and various Industry bodies tied with to arrive at the solution supporting Intels site compliance and Intels interest.

Work on existing regulatory issues around Battery waste management rules Hazardous waste management rules liquid waste management solid waste management rules and construction and demolition waste management rules to follow-up it through the stakeholders until resolving all the bottle necks and ability to meet compliance requirements holistically. Have regular review with EHS manager for coarse correction. Further strategize and work on policy advocacy to get nod for ease of doing business around environment regulations by working with internal and external stakeholders like example Business units logistics Government affairs tied industry body and regulatory administrative bodies.

Maintain and store repository of documentation / records for the above tasks following the ISO Management system(good practice)
