Brainvault Technologies - Database Architect - MySQL / MongoDB

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and build data strategies for MySQL and MongoDB services within the platform in AWS (Multi-region)
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability.
• Implement strategies to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot complex database issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Set configuration standards for MySQL and MongoDB database services.
• Address escalated database infrastructure issues, and monitor database infrastructure components for performance, capacity, failures, and uptime.
• Utilize programming languages such as : PHP, Javascript to understand the usage of data and data types.
• Lead database migration projects and version upgrades
• Work within time frames following change management processes to provide maximum uptime.
• Adhere to security policies along with working with audit teams.
• Research and remediate system vulnerabilities.
• Professionally represent the Database team as a technical consultant on projects.
• Maintain documentation of all database infrastructure, database scheduled jobs, and other related components including code builds and modifications.
• Participate in on-call the individual will need :
• Extensive experience with Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and workflow management utilizing MySQL and MongoDB database services and methodologies.
• Extensive experience with AWS Aurora RDS services.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience using PHP and Python.
• Expertise in crafting advanced MySQL queries and optimizing database performance.
• Extensive experience in ETL processes for seamless data movement across systems.
• Familiarity with processing and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with utilizing database monitoring tools.
• Capacity management for the database services.
• Knowledge of ETL and reporting services.
• Experience operating in an Agile based SDLC environment.
• A desire to iterate and continuously improve the environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high velocity environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelors degree; or equivalent work experience. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills.
