Role : Senior Security Developer

• Azure Cloud Security / Sentinel / Defender

Job Description :

Minimum 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering, SOC, or security architecture roles.

Deep understanding & proficiency with security practices across different verticals such as Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender and other Azure native security services.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Secure cloud infrastructures (Preferred Azure) using industry best practices and services used across this platform.

2 Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.E

3 Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.

4 Monitor systems for irregular behaviour and set up preventive measures.

5 Develop and maintain scripts and playbooks to automate detection, response, and remediation processes.

6 Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving security posture.

7 Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts, as needed.

8 Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR.

9 Lead and mentor junior security engineers and collaborate with other teams to drive the Security operations.

10 Ability to work independently and handle high-priority incidents

11 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

12 Strong communication and documentation abilities
