Data Engineer

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with 10+ years of expertise in SQL development and database architecture. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ETL processes, data modeling, and performance optimization, handling large-scale data transactions (5–10 million records). Proficiency in SSIS, data warehousing, and database tuning is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS .
• Design and implement enterprise-grade database architectures , ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Work with large datasets , managing transactions in the range of millions of records .
• Perform performance tuning, transaction management, deadlock handling, and query optimization .
• Develop and manage data warehouse solutions , ensuring data integrity and high performance.
• Create and optimize relational database models , focusing on Entity Relationship Modeling .
• Utilize SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL , and AWS-based data warehousing solutions .
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate data requirements into optimized schemas .
• Ensure best practices for coding standards, version control (Bitbucket / GIT), and code reviews .
• Work with analytics tools like AWS QuickSight for data reporting and visualization.
