Job description

Key Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of experience with C# in automation testing.
  • Solid experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks for automating UI and RESTful API testing, including but not limited to :
  • SpecFlow (preferred)
  • Cucumber
  • Quantum
  • JBehave
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as :
  • Postman
  • Visual Studio
  • Bitbucket or Git

Technical Skills : Database Expertise :

  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for testing and validation.

    • Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) :

  • Hands-on experience with tools like :
  • Bamboo
  • Jenkins
  • Harness

    • Troubleshooting and Solutions :

  • Strong skills in diagnosing issues and driving proactive solutions.

    • Performance Testing :

  • Knowledge of application performance indicators and experience with performance testing is a plus.

    • Integration Testing :

  • Experience with messaging infrastructures such as :
  • RabbitMQ
  • Kafka

    • Responsibilities : Automation Testing :

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automation test cases for UI and RESTful APIs.
  • Use BDD frameworks like SpecFlow to ensure readable and maintainable test scenarios.

    • Tools and Framework Utilization :

  • Utilize tools like Postman for API testing and Visual Studio for test development.
  • Manage source code repositories with Git or Bitbucket .

    • Database Testing :

  • Validate test cases using SQL / NoSQL databases , ensuring robust data integration.

    • Continuous Testing and Deployment :

  • Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or Bamboo .
  • Integrate continuous testing into deployment workflows.

    • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution :

  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot defects during the testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.

    • Performance and Integration Testing :

  • Test application performance indicators and conduct integration testing with RabbitMQ and Kafka messaging systems.

    • Certifications :

  • Preferred certifications in automation testing tools and practices (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional, or equivalent).
