Position : SAP Forms Developer – Adobe Forms (S / 4HANA Output Management)

Work Location : Remote (India)

Relevant years of Experience : 4 - 6+ Years

Total Experience : 6+ Years

Job Type : Contract (3 Months)

Shift Time : UK Shift

Salary Range : Max 24L PA

Role Purpose

Designs and develops Adobe Forms (SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe) for transactional output (quotes, invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders, etc.) and correspondence, aligned to corporate branding, multilingual needs, and S / 4HANA Output Management (BRF+).

Key Responsibilities

Form Design & Build

  • Create interface, context, and form in transaction SFP using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
  • Bind data (CDS / OData / RFC structures), implement scripting (JavaScript / ABAP in interface).
  • Implement barcodes, dynamic tables, logos, conditional sections, attachments.

Output Management Integration

  • Configure S / 4HANA Output Control (OPD), BRF+ decision tables, form templates.
  • Email / print setup, PDF generation, spool handling, Cloud Print Manager (where applicable).

    • Quality & Localization

  • Multi-language, right-to-left, date / number formats; accessibility (PDF / UA if required).
  • Pixel-perfect brand compliance; prepress / print vendor coordination.

    • Migration & Standardization

  • Migrate Smart Forms / Adobe legacy templates to S / 4 Adobe Forms.
  • Establish reusable assets : master page sets, style libraries, content fragments.

    • Operations

  • Troubleshoot output errors, ADS connectivity, performance (template size, images).
  • Manage transport of forms, variant control, versioning.

    • Required Skills / Experience

  • 4–6+ years in SAP forms; 3+ years Adobe Forms (SFP + ADS).
  • Strong in S / 4 Output Management, BRF+, and form data binding.
  • Understanding of S / 4 data models in SD / MM / FI and common output objects.

    • Nice-to-Haves

  • Integration with DMS / ArchiveLink, e-invoicing frameworks, QR bills / payment barcodes.
  • Accessibility standards, digital signatures, PDF / A compliance.

    • Deliverables & Artifacts

  • Approved form templates, interface programs, BRF+ rules, brand guidelines, test specs.

    • KPIs / Success Measures

  • First-time-right acceptance rate; defect leakage to UAT / Prod.
  • Output processing time; print / email success rate.
  • Template reuse and maintenance effort reduction.

    • Stakeholders

  • Business process owners (SD, MM, FI), Brand / Communications, Basis / Output Management, Vendors / Print Houses.

    • Tools / Tech Stack

  • SFP, Adobe LiveCycle Designer, ADS (Adobe Document Services), BRF+, OPD, Spool / Output logs, Cloud Print Manager (if used), Transport tools.
