About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer / Technical Lead to lead the development of scalable, high-performance backend systems that support critical airline operations and customer-facing applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical leadership, enjoys mentoring teams, and is passionate about building reliable, cost-efficient systems using modern backend technologies. While the primary focus of this role is backend engineering and technical leadership, experience or familiarity with AI / ML concepts and data engineering practices is a plus. You may occasionally collaborate with data teams to support intelligent features and data-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend services and APIs.
• Drive technical architecture, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Manage and mentor a team of backend engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure systems are optimized for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Define and track technical KPIs, including system uptime, latency, and resource utilization.
• Evaluate and adopt appropriate streaming technologies and orchestration tools to support real-time and batch processing needs.
