Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Associate to support the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale Skill Development Projects across Maharashtra and other states. The role involves working closely with project managers, training partners, government stakeholders and field teams to ensure smooth operations, timely reporting, and effective stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in the skilling sector, a basic understanding of India's skilling ecosystem, and strong coordination and MS Office skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination : Assist in day-to-day coordination of project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Documentation & Reporting : Prepare proposals, presentations, bid responses, meeting minutes, training schedules, and consolidated progress reports; assist in invoice and billing documentation.
- Stakeholder Management : Liaise with district-level coordinators, training and assessment partners, and government officials to facilitate smooth implementation and problem-solving.
- Monitoring & Data Management : Track project progress, maintain accurate records, compile district-level updates through dashboards, and assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Field Support : Participate in periodic field visits to monitor training centres, mobilization activities, and assessments; document observations for review.
- Research & Insights : Gather and organize relevant information about skill development policies, schemes, and initiatives to inform project strategies.
Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field.Experience : 1–2 years of relevant experience in the skill development, livelihoods, or education sector. Exposure to government or large-scale development projects is desirable.Skills :Strong communication skills in English, Marathi and Hindi. (written and verbal).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work with data and prepare concise reports.Basic understanding of the skilling ecosystem in India.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.Other Requirements :Willingness to travel across Maharashtra.Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic work environments.Strong sense of ownership and problem-solving mindset.Skills Required
