Role Summary : We are looking for a skilled MEP Designer with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our in-house design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) using Autodesk Revit . You will work closely with our architects, civil engineers, vendors, and execution team to ensure seamless design-to-delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate MEP layout drawings using Autodesk Revit (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and low-voltage systems).
  • Collaborate with architectural and structural teams for clash detection and coordination.
  • Prepare BOQs for MEP services aligned with design and execution requirements.
  • Support tendering, budgeting, and vendor alignment processes with technical documentation.
  • Revise and update models and drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with vendors and consultants to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and support procurement processes by providing detailed schedules.
  • Perform site visits if required for design validation and MEP inspections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
  • 4–5 years of relevant hands-on experience with Revit MEP in commercial / office space projects.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience preparing BOQs and technical documentation for tendering.
  • Excellent understanding of building services codes and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
