About the Fund :
Origin40 is a long-term buyout vehicle acquiring and scaling enduring businesses across Healthcare and Technology. We are backed by a diverse group of investors, including fund of funds, operators, private equity professionals, and founders.
Origin40 is led by a GP with a distinctive arc across technology, investing, and strategy. He scaled Flipkart during its hypergrowth phase, backed companies through venture roles, and advised global private equity clients on post-merger integration and portfolio value creation. His experience across multiple geographies brings both perspective and conviction to building a buyout vehicle in India.
About the Role :
As an Investment Fellow, you will work directly with the GP on executing the Origin40 thesis. This includes building market maps, developing sector-level views, identifying acquisition targets, engaging with founders, and evaluating businesses.
This is a hands-on role for someone with curiosity, structure, and maturity. It is suited for MBAs or pre-MBAs with a consulting, investing, or banking background. It is also a strong fit for mid-career professionals seeking to re-energize their trajectory by working inside a small team with real ownership.
Fellowship Experience :
This fellowship is a 6-month (or longer) opportunity designed to deliver an asymmetric learning curve. In a short span, you will gain hands-on exposure to scouting, evaluating, and transacting buyout deals. For those considering careers in investing or operating at scale, this fellowship provides a meaningful foundation and a network that will compound well beyond the program itself.

Great to Have :
