Job Title : Tax Senior
Location : Bangalore
Shift Timing : 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM IST (5-day work week)
Summary :
In our tax senior role, you will communicate with our clients to understand their businesses and how we can help them be successful. This will include performing various aspects of tax compliance, projections, preparing responses to tax notices, assisting with special projects, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Tax Return Preparation and review forms like 1065, 1120s, 1120 states, multi states, 990 would be advantage.
- Hands on partnership industry type entity returns like 8825 Rental real estate, private equity, passthrough, operating partnership 1065.1120S.
- Prepare and / or review complex federal and state Form 1065, 1120S, 1120 tax returns.
- Ensure accurate reporting of partner allocations, guaranteed payments, capital accounts, and Schedule K-1s.
- Handle multi-tiered partnerships and complex entity structures. Manage multiple tax engagements simultaneously.
- Software : Go-System, Case Ware FACS would be an advantage.
- Skills : Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, partnership taxation, multi-state tax, and international considerations (if applicable).
- Strong knowledge of Schedule K / K-1, Schedule L, M-1 / M-2, and capital account reporting.
- Chargeable Hour Goals : Meet chargeable hour goal of 1,700 annually and interim billable hour goals during busy seasons.
- Mentorship : Act as a mentor and role model for tax staff, providing guidance and support.
- Training & Development : Assist with the presentation and delivery of in-house training to team members.
Position Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or other relevant degree program.Experience : Minimum 2 to 5 years of public accounting experience, preferred.Technical Knowledge : Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Communication & Time Management : Ability to multi-task with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment.Benefits :
