Designing & Developing 3D modeling, 2D drawings& assembly for Opto-Mechanical Systems using solid works / Ansys Workbench / Optic-studio & designing & preparation of tools, jigs, and fixtures as per requirement and maintaining the design documents and reports.
Accountabilities :
Structural Designing for Opto- Mechanical Systems
- Developing Mechanical Structural Designs for opto- Mechanical System & its components & ensuring the performance & Standards
- Designing detailed 3D model.
- Analysis of components based on the boundary conditions and evaluating the results (Static & Thermal Analysis).
- Generation of 2D drawings as per the ISO 10110& ASME 14.5Y standard & as per the assembly requirement.
Integration &Testing of Opto- Mechanical Systems
Integration &Testing process to be followed to ensure the performance standards.Designing Tools, Jigs & Fixture
Designing various Fixtures, Jigs &tools for Opto- Mechanical systems.Understanding the testing requirement for developing jigs & fixturesDocumentation
Preparation of Integration document & checklist for Section Level.Preparation of document as per assembly sequence & testing processPreparation &maintenance of design documents & drawings.Updating & Maintaining work log for ensuring work progressEducational Qualifications and Experience
B. Tech in Mechanical / Structural Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience (02+years) in mechanical design, preferably in the Aerospace or Defense industry.Proficiency in SolidWorks, Ansys workbench & Ansys optics Studio.Strongunderstanding of limits,fits, and tolerance(GD&T) principles.Knowledge of ISO Y14.5standardsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
