About the Opportunity
A healthcare provider operating in the private tertiary women s health and maternity services sector in India. We deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynaecologic care ranging from routine antenatal services to emergency obstetric interventions within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
We are hiring an on-site Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to lead clinical care surgical services and mentor junior clinicians in a high-volume hospital setting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynaecologic care including antenatal intrapartum and postnatal management.
- Perform elective and emergency operative procedures such as caesarean sections and essential gynaecologic surgeries with adherence to perioperative protocols.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and coordinate multi-disciplinary care with neonatology anaesthesia and critical care teams.
- Lead labour ward activities : supervise deliveries interpret fetal monitoring and respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors nursing staff and trainees; contribute to clinical audits case reviews and quality-improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records ensure guideline-based clinical documentation and support departmental protocols for patient safety and infection control.
