Role :
We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who brings not just experience but excellence in building high-performance tech and product teams from the ground up. You'll be responsible for end-to-end technical hiring—from decoding complex role requirements with Engineering Leaders to driving creative sourcing strategies and partnering with the CEO for final offer closures.
In this role, you'll work across the company to fill backfill and net-new positions created due to expansion, product outgrowth, or team evolution. We expect you to bring a strategic lens, execution depth, and creative problem-solving mindset to drive quality hires in fast-moving environments.
Responsibilities
Own the full recruitment life cycle : sourcing, screening, coordinating, stakeholder management, and offer negotiation for tech roles across levels (ICs to Leadership).
Work with Engineering, Product, QA, and Leadership teams to define hiring needs, write compelling JDs, and build hiring plans.
Drive hiring for a range of positions including Backend / Frontend Engineers, DevOps, QA, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Solution Architects, and more.
Actively source candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Twitter, Discord, alumni networks, and referral loops—beyond job boards.
Assess technical and cultural fit through structured screening processes; schedule and manage complex multi-stakeholder interview loops.
Regularly engage with hiring managers, leadership teams, and the CEO to get approvals, refine specs, and align on hiring outcomes.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for future needs—especially in high-churn or growth-critical roles.
Monitor and report on funnel metrics—time to fill, offer : accept ratio, source of hire, pipeline conversion—to improve decision-making.
Bring creativity in employer branding, market mapping, and candidate engagement, especially for passive talent.
Use good judgement in prioritizing requirements and managing multiple hiring mandates in a lean, high-growth, and often ambiguous environment.
Qualifications :
5–8 years of experience in technical recruiting for fast-growing startups or mid-sized product.
Proven ability to hire across diverse technical functions—Engineering, QA, Architecture, DevOps, Security, Product—from entry-level to senior leadership roles.
Deep knowledge of tech stacks, engineering workflows, org structures, and hiring complexities in scaling companies.
Experience with engineering leadership hiring : EMs, Directors, and Principal ICs.
Hands-on experience with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub etc.,
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—you know how to work with time-strapped, high-bar leaders.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic setup where hiring needs evolve rapidly.
A self-starter with market connects, industry relationships, and a hustler mindset to tap into passive talent pools.
Preferred Skills :
Exposure to global tech hiring (India, UAE, US, UK).
Experience hiring in pre-Series A to Series C funded environments.
Involvement in employer branding, or talent advisory for org design.
Understanding of compensation structures (CTC, ESOPs, retention clauses) and ability to consult on offers.
