Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled BI Analyst with experience in  Spark to support our data-driven decision-making processes. This role will focus on extracting insights from large-scale datasets related to trade finance transactions, document analysis, and client behavior, helping shape strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using Spark, SQL, and data visualization tools.
  • Analyze complex datasets from trade finance platforms, including letters of credit, invoice financing, and      supply chain finance.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and finance teams to define KPIs and build dashboards that drive business insights.
  • Perform data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling to identify opportunities and risks in trade finance operations.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and  governance across reporting systems.
  • Translate business requirements into  technical specifications and actionable insights.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in BI or data analytics roles, preferably in fintech or financial services.
  • Strong proficiency in Spark (PySpark), SQL, and data wrangling.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Solid understanding of trade finance instruments and workflows is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lakes.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a big plus.
  • Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in trade finance (e.g., AML, KYC).
