Job descriptionFluency in English is a MUST spoken and written. Bachelors or Master’s Degree in any discipline (Humanities / Commerce / Science / Management preferred). 1-3 years of experience in academic counselling, telecalling, telesales, or inside sales preferred. Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with potential Ph.D. aspirants.
- Communicate fluently in English with students across India and abroad.
- Understand the students academic background and career goals, and guide them through the Ph.D. admission process.
- Collect and evaluate student profiles (CVs), and coordinate with internal evaluation departments.
- Follow up consistently via phone, WhatsApp, or email to ensure high engagement and closure.
- Convert qualified leads into successful enrolments.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and status updates in CRM tools.
- Provide after-enrolment support as needed.
