Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in India. This role is ideal for freshers / entry-level candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to provide excellent support to our users.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop and laptop systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Assist users in resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in-person support.
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure all hardware is in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates for software applications and operating systems.
- Provide training and support for users on various software applications.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications.Basic networking knowledge including TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP.Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Location - Rajkot (Gujarat)
