Who are you
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Testing Framework Development Engineer to design, develop, and enhance automation frameworks for testing Automotive Electric Vehicle (EV) systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in proposing, evaluating alternate solutions and development of a framework to suit the needs of component verification
Key Responsibilities :
- Automation Framework Development
- Design and develop scalable automation testing frameworks for EV systems.
- Implement automated test scripts for SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments.
- Optimize existing test frameworks for performance, reliability, and reusability.
- Test Case Development & Execution
- Develop and execute automated test cases for EV powertrain,
- Validate Electric propulsion functionalities, startup / shutdown sequences, fault injection, and real-time system behavior.
- Work with CAN, LIN and Ethernet protocols for testing vehicle communication systems.
- Utilize CANoe, CANalyzer, and other automotive testing tools for debugging and validation.
- Develop automated test scripts for communication protocol validation.
- Configure HIL rigs and test benches for EV system validation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for rig upgrades
- Continuous Improvement & Documentation
- Improve test automation coverage and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation for test frameworks, automation scripts, and test reports.
- Work closely with software, hardware, and validation teams to refine testing strategies.
Required Skills & Experience :
10+ years of experience in automotive software testing and automation framework development.Hands-on experience with HIL systems (dSPACE)Strong knowledge of Python, CAPL, MATLAB / Simulink, other scripting languages for test automation.Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar tools for vehicle communication analysis.Familiarity with EV architecture, powertrain systems, and BMS testing is a plus.Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and automotive software development lifecycle.Experience with model-based testing ( SIL, HIL) in automotive applications.Understanding of CI / CD pipelines for test automation.Skills Required
