About the Role

We are looking for an Industrial Designer who will take ownership in shaping the design language and product experience of our modular / prefab pods. This role involves hands-on product design, from concept to prototype, along with creating visual and communication assets that bring ideas to life. You will work at the intersection of design, engineering, and architecture - defining form, materials, and usability to make our modular products functional, scalable, and visually coherent.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Concept Generation : Conduct product and market research, analyze existing solutions, and generate creative design concepts for new modular / prefab products.

Product Design : Design and develop modular / prefab products and components from concept sketches through 3D CAD models and prototypes.

Material & Finishes (CMF) : Define appropriate colors, materials, finishes, and manufacturing methods that align with product performance, aesthetics, and scalability.

Design Communication : Develop visuals, renders, and presentations to effectively communicate design intent and functionality to clients.

Prototyping : Build and test prototypes to validate design and usability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams to ensure alignment between design vision, technical feasibility, and product strategy.

Design System Development : Maintain and evolve design standards and documentation for product identity and communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Engineering Design .

3+ years of experience in industrial or product design with a strong portfolio.

Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent).

Strong understanding of design principles, materials, finishes, DFMA, and rapid prototyping.

Good visualization and rendering skills (KeyShot, Adobe Suite, Figma, etc.).

Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with modular products, architectural components, or industrial systems .

Exposure to rapid prototyping workflows.

Familiarity with human factors, ergonomics, and usability principles .
