Account Executive

Job Purpose

The Accounts Payable professional is responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and providing support for month-end closing and audits

Key Responsibilities

Manage and accurate and timely processing of Invoice in ERP.

Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices

Sort, GST code and match invoices

Set invoices up for payment to vendor

Enter and upload invoices into ERP system

Track expenses and process expense reports

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

Prepare and perform check runs

Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records

Reconcile accounts payable transactions

Prepare analysis of accounts

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

Maintain vendor reconciliation files

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

Produce monthly reports as required by seniors (MIS)

Assist with month end closing

Provide supporting documentation for audits

Maintain accurate historical records

Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

Knowledge of TDS deduction, online payment of TDS, E-filing return etc.

Knowledge of GST and GST Return filing and maintain due date of return filing.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in commerce.

Knowledge

Knowledge of accounts payable

Knowledge of general accounting procedures

Knowledge of relevant accounting software (Preferred – far vision ERP)

Proficient in data entry and management

Experience

5 to 8 years in accounts payable or general accounting.

Real Estate Industry Experience is a Must
