Job description
  • Lead the implementation and continuous monitoring of strategic safety initiatives to meet defined safety objectives effectively.
  • Oversee the timely execution of compliance-related actions, targeting zero non-conformance and ensuring adherence to all statutory and legal requirements.
  • Maintain and regularly evaluate on-site and off-site emergency preparedness systems and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
  • Guide and audit departmental OHS action plans. Lead the development and execution of a Safety Management System aligned with ABG standards to foster continuous improvement in occupational health and safety.
  • Review and enforce best safety practices and operational work plans through robust Workplace and Process Safety Management, building a proactive safety culture.
  • Ensure the effectiveness and reliability of fire prevention and protection systems to minimize fire risks and associated losses.
