Engineer-II PCB Layout

JD-Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with minimum 4-6 years of experience in Printed

Circuit Board (PCB) layout which involves designing of High-speed Digital Analog Power

supply and mixed signal design and should have below skills :

Should be Proficient in Schematic Tools : Orcad Capture 17.2 Mentor Dx-Designer

Should be Proficient in Layout Tools : Cadence Allegro 17.4 Altium V22.4.2 Xpedition - Mentor

Graphics v2.24.

Should have designed Multi-layer PCBs which involves Rigid Rigid-Flex High density BGAs

Should have involved in Layout activities of Footprint creation Part Placement Constraints

Plane Creation Routing Length matching Gerber setup CAM verification.

Experience of working with cross functional engineering teams across and working closely with

Hardware Mechanical SI and PI team to better understand the requirements that helps in

delivering a successful product.

Ability to handle the complete design cycle of the PCBs from schematic to Gerber Generation.

Familiar with the IPC standards which helps to meet the design and customer specific

requirements starting from Footprint creation to PCB Fabrication.

Interact with Fabrication and Assembly house to understand DFA DFM and DFT requirements

at early stage of the design.

Experienced in Gerber checks to ensure the quality of the PCB.

Worked on ICT test points placement and customer guidelines.

Interacting with manufacturing & assembly vendors having good exposure in both process.

Experience in PCB Design for Manufacturing DFT Quality Standards Compliance Standards

Should be well versed in creating Printed Board fabrication & assembly drawing with

engineering notes call-out for suppliers.

Work experience as a member of a design team taking product from concept to production is

preferred.

Self-motivated self-managing self-learner and creative thinker.

Team player; able to work in cross functional team with minimum supervision.
