Job Description : HVAC(Offshore) LQ Incharge

Education Qualification - B.Tech / BE Mechancial
Job Specification :
- Lead HVAC design reviews for Living Quarters and offshore modules.
- Ensure HVAC systems comply with relevant codes — ASHRAE, API, ISO, ABS, DNV.
- Perform heat load calculations, ducting design, and equipment sizing.
- Review P&IDs, engineering documents, and vendor data for HVAC packages.
- Monitor HVAC installation, testing, commissioning, and system performance.
- Troubleshoot HVAC operational issues and support maintenance teams.
- Ensure proper integration of HVAC with fire & gas systems and pressurization systems.
- Architecture / LQ Responsibilities
- Oversee architectural planning for Living Quarters (cabins, offices, galley, mess, recreation rooms, control rooms).
- Coordinate space layout, routing, and functional arrangements as per offshore accommodation standards.
- Review architectural drawings and ensure compliance with SOLAS, IMO, DNV / ABS standards.
- Ensure structural interface compatibility for doors, panels, partitions, flooring, ceilings, and wall systems.
- Supervise installation of joinery works, insulation, wall panels, furniture, and interior fit-out.
- Ensure all materials meet offshore fire rating requirements (A60, B15 standards).
- Verify ergonomics, safety, hygiene, and comfort requirements for LQ occupants.

Technical Skills (Must-Have)
Strong expertise in Offshore LQ HVAC systems (pressurization, ducting, cooling / heating, ventilation).Knowledge of SOLAS, IMO, ASHRAE, DNV, ABS, API, ISO offshore design codes.Experience in HVAC design review and commissioning at offshore platforms, FPSO, or accommodation modules..
