Job description

Job Title : International Business Development Executive – Spices Division

Location : Ahmedabad

Employment Type : Full-Time | Permanent

Experience : 3–6 years

Role Summary :

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven International Business Development Executive to expand our global presence in the Spices and Agro Commodities market. The role involves identifying new markets, generating leads, managing export operations, and building strong client relationships across international regions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and develop new international buyers, distributors, and markets (Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia, USA).
  • Generate and qualify leads through B2B portals and trade databases such as Alibaba, Tradewheel, IndiaMART, LinkedIn, Import Genius, EXIMPedia, etc.
  • Communicate with clients, share quotations, negotiate prices & terms, and coordinate for samples and documentation.
  • Manage the complete export sales cycle — from inquiry to shipment and payment follow-up.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for production, logistics, and dispatch to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor global market trends, pricing, import policies, and competitor activity to support decision-making.
  • Represent the company in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual buyer-seller meets.
  • Maintain a CRM / database of clients and ensure accurate export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, etc.).

Key Deliverables :

  • Achieve monthly and annual export sales targets.
  • Expand market share in key global spice markets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Provide regular market analysis and performance reports to management.
  • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in export sales or international marketing, preferably in spices, food, or agro commodities
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, lead generation tools, and global trade sotware.
  • Familiarity with B2B portals and international market operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

  • Knowledge of foreign trade regulations and Incoterms preferred.
