Job descriptionDesign, develop, and implement scalable and secure APIs for system integration across internal and external platforms. Integrate third-party APIs, cloud services, and legacy systems with current applications and infrastructure. Follow best practices for API development, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability. Transform data across various formats (e.g., JSON, XML) for system compatibility and interoperability. Implement robust data validation, logging, and error handling mechanisms during API interactions. Work in Agile / DevOps environments to deliver solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree with 0–3 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
- OR
- Diploma with 4–7 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
- Experience in designing and managing RESTful APIs and SOAP web services
- Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, JSON, XML, and RESTful standards
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
- Exposure to DevOps practices and maintaining business-aligned software solutions
- Proficiency in Mulesoft or other cloud integration technologies
- Familiarity with API Gateway tools such as AWS API Gateway, Kong, or Apigee
- Experience in enterprise API management and design
- SAFe® for Teams certification (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- High initiative and motivation
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- Strong team collaboration in virtual and global environments
