Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Casting Coordinator to identify, engage, and book exceptional actors while optimizing our casting process for speed, quality, and creative fit. You will work closely with directors and producers to source top-tier talent, deliver an outstanding audition experience, and build a strong, readily available talent pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage End-to-End Casting : Drive the entire casting process from brief to booking, including managing submissions, coordinating auditions, and scheduling shoots to secure 3–5 principal cast bookings per month.
- Optimize Casting Speed : Achieve an average time-to-cast of 15 days per role, ensuring efficient feedback loops with the creative team and clear communication with agents and talent.
- Deliver a Superior Talent Experience : Ensure a smooth, professional, and positive process for all actors and agents, maintaining a 95% shoot participation rate from booked talent.
- Source High-Volume Talent : Source and screen 100-150 actor profiles per role by liaising with a network of casting agencies, utilizing casting platforms, and conducting proactive outreach.
- Build a Strong Social Presence : Publish 2 engaging casting calls or industry-related posts weekly on relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn) to attract a diverse talent pool, aiming for an engagement rate of 1.5% or more.
- Maintain a Talent Pipeline : Build and manage a curated pipeline of 30+ pre-screened, audition-ready actors for priority and frequently recurring role types.
What We’re Looking For
Experience : 1-3 years in casting, talent agency work, or a similar talent-sourcing role within a fast-paced production, studio, or agency environment.Skills : Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, mastery of casting platforms (e.g., Casting Networks, Backstage), and a proven ability to efficiently identify outstanding talent that fits a creative brief.Mindset : Proactive, execution-focused, and solution-driven. You are highly organized and thrive on meeting ambitious targets.
